Got from the takeaway. Great tasting & quality fish & chips. Nice mushy peas as well. I did wait for my order to be fried which I didn't mind at all. Well worth the money and wait.

Quite honestly the best fish & chips I've had in a long time! The takeaway has become a family favourite. Also, the speed of service is brilliant too. The only thing which is a hit or miss, is the staff - some are incredibly friendly & some make you wonder why you're there.

Hands down the best fish and chips in the area. Freshest ingredients, crispy batter , fresh tasting fish and the chips are delicious. I have tried numerous fish and chips shops in the area and they have been decent however this place is that level above. Nothing is stodgy it's all fresh and flavoursome. The staff are friendly and always up for a chat, they keep you company as they cook up the fresh fish. Great portions too I don't have any pictures at this point but I'll try and upload later . This is my favourite go to place for fish and chips Lakers in seven kings is my favourite chicken shop. Unique in that it's the best quality and does not taste cheap.

Best Fish and Chips in London/Essex. Always been the best chips around hands down but the fish is also on par with the best. I usually get a cod row and a sausage and the better is very good. Not greasy and its cripsy. Steve the owner is a nice guy and if you're in a rush don't tell him you like football as you'll never get away!! Good size Gherkins and well and if you want a treat then have the chicken nuggets, very nice. The restaurant is also nice to eat in as well.

As a northerner, finding a decent fish and chip shop in London is like searching for the holy grail. To the point where I'd almost given hope of finding anywhere half decent. Thankfully Hi-Tide is more than half decent - it's brilliant! Fantastic quality fish, great chips, and all the usual side dishes. A little pricey no doubt for those of us used to northern prices, but top notch quality! Highly recommended!
